Achim Ebert
Biography

Prof. Dr. Achim Ebert holds a degree and a doctor in Computer Science. He is the co-head of the Computer Graphics and HCI lab at the University of Kaiserslautern. He is also a member of the lead personnel of DFG’s International Research Training Group (IRTG) “Physical Modeling for Virtual Manufacturing Systems and Processes”. His current research topics include information visualization, immersive scenarios, and human-computer interaction. He participated or led several national and international research projects in the area of visualization and HCI, both with an academic or industrial focus. He has founded and is co-heading the IFIP working group 13.7 on Human-Computer Interaction and Visualization. He has published more than 100 refereed publications. Achim Ebert acts as a member of many international program committees (e.g, ACM and IEEE) and as a reviewer for several journals and conferences.
